Christmas is over , and with it this lil' event is coming to a close! I just wanted to thank everyone who joined in and helped out to make this come to life. It's not very big, but it will be a great springboard for any other things I participate in or create in the future. I love you all! Today we are showcasing 5 amazing bloggers!
LARA @WORD ELIXIRS
My name is Lara and I blog at Word Elixirs.. And other than blogging I read and write a lot! I spend far too much time on the internet and I've just started an Instagram account so now I'm sort of addicted to that as well and I've been taking a lot of bookish photos lately.
Why do you blog?
I blog because I love it! I don't know what I did before I blogged because I don't really have any other hobbies apart from reading and writing. Blogging allows me to do both those things in a far less lonely way and I think that's just FABULOUS!
What was the best bookish thing about 2015?
What was the best bookish thing about 2015?
2015 has been an interesting year for me and I haven't managed to read as many books as I would have likes to, but I think even though I've been reading less I've started blogging more and I finally feel like I've found my "blogging voice/style". I'm starting to feel like I really belong in this community and I've met so many amazing people because of it! This wee corner of the internet just makes me so happy!
EMMA @EMMA LIKES BOOKS
Hi my name is Emma and my blog is Emma Likes Books. I'm from New York. I graduated from college back in January. I've been blogging on and off since last year, and I still consider myself pretty new to it all. I do the typical book blog things like review books, book hauls, and wrap ups, but I also have some cool features on the blog like music playlists inspired by books, and DIYs. I also do recipes either inspired by or as seen in books with the help of my sister, Katherine. One of the more popular ones is Levi's Pumpkin Mocha Breve.
Aside from blogging and reading I like to write. Last month was my second time participating in NaNoWriMo and first time winning!

Why do you blog?
I've been introduced to so many books through blogging, and i love reading different opinions on books. Being able to participate in things like Bout of Books or just commenting on other blogs and bonding over fictional characters makes me feel like I'm a part of something and lets me know there are other people out there who I can obsess over books with.
What was the best bookish thing about 2015?
This was my first solid year of blogging. I had been in school up until the end of January and hadn't been able to dedicate much time to it. After graduating I started putting a little more effort into my posts and getting involved in the community.
ERIN @THE BOOK ARCHIVE
Hello! I'm Erin @ The Book Archive and I love books (clearly). Reading has been my favorite thing since I was young and I cannot imagine life without it--or art, in general.
Why do you blog?
I blog simply because books are my passion and I like sharing that passion, not to mention connecting with other bibliophiles.
What was the best bookish thing about 2015?
2015 has flown by! I have read so many brilliant books and met some of the best people in this little online community. I would have to say that Neil Gaiman was a big discovery for me this year, and I highly suggest checking out his books!
NEJOUD @NEJOUD IS CURRENTLY READING
Hi my name is Nejoud ! I am 16 years old I mostly read and review YA, but I also read poetry sometimes.
Why do you blog?
I blog because of sharing I guess, I love sharing my thoughts on books, I love sharing my reviews, books I read, planning to read and also to find out about new books.
What was the best bookish thing about 2015?
I guess the best thing happened this year is the book All The Bright Places, really loved it.
SARAH CLARE@BEHIND ON BOOKS
A reader of things and a writer of stuff. YA is my bag, but I also love the heck out of some fantasy and SF.
I started my blog 'Behind on Books' because I always felt like I was the last to read something.. and always behind on a trend. And I was hoping others would feel the same too.
Slytherin. Full stop. *hisses*

Why do you blog?
I blog because I have so much to say about bookish things and it's such a relief to find others with similar.. or challenging.. opinions. I love interacting with people, especially if it's to fangirl over the same book! :D
What was the best bookish thing about 2015?
Golden Son by Pierce Brown.
Next question.
Nah, there have been a lot of great bookish things about 2015. I went to my first book convention (YALC) and I totally lost my beans meeting all the authors and buying all the books!
